I snagged this guy a few months ago and tuned it up for SS/CDP but never wound up competing with it; my primer stockpile has recently shifted toward SPP's so I can keep going with revolver for a while yet. This is the TLE/RL II "Custom" (5" barrel) chambered in .45 ACP. It has a fully-checkered front strap, a partial tactical rail (short enough to be legal for SS) and pretty recent Cerakote (black slide and burnt bronze frame) - the frame has more gloss/sparkle than my phone's camera shows. The gun also has a newer set of Meprolight night sights.
I've tuned it with Wolff springs (extra power firing pin spring, 19# main and 15# recoil), a Wilson Combat sear spring, and a Fusion aluminum trigger to dial in the pre- and over-travel. The result is a mid-3 lb pull with minimal play and a snappy reset. I also added Guuun "sunburst" G10 grips, Ti Connector bronze grip screws, and a lightened mag catch spring. Included with the gun are three magazines (one Kimber TacPro and two Wilson Combats with Dawson pads), a new CompTac ambi holster, the factory parts I replaced, and a generic hard case. I have the fuddy wood grips that it came with if you want those, too
