Up for sale is a 2'' Colt Marshal in .38 Special.
SN: 838102
No box or papers.
An unknown gunsmith bobbed the hammer, which has been done well. The lockwork and action is still original and has not been converted to DAO. A hammer from a Colt Official Police is the same and can be installed by a competent gunsmith, who knows how to work on Colt DAs.
As you might know, a Colt Marshal is a round butt version of the Colt Official Police. There were 2,500 made from 1954 to 1956. Colt DA guys will know.
See the Colt stocks as well as the stag stocks with bark, which are included, along with a 586 speed loader.
Three holsters are included, which I need to find. One is a Don Hume, which fits well. One is a H.H. Heiser and one is a Lawrence. The fit are not exact.
All of the above are included and not available separately.
Shipping: Buyer will call my FFL and pay directly for the shipping/carrier they want. I don't know exactly what shipping will be.
FTF: can easily meet in Ft. Collins up to Cheyenne. I often go to Centennial for work so I can easily meet at Centennial Gun Club or other close by FFL. Buyer pays all FFL fees, transfer fees, etc. My FFL will ship to ban states for peace officers, though it should be exempt. I know it is for CA as it is a handgun over 50 years old.
Pictures are not loading, so I can email or text.
$1,100 plus shipping. No trades.
Cross posted, first I'll take it gets it. All federal and state laws apply.
Please see my feedback. Thanks for looking
