New Smith & Wesson Stainless Steel Barrel with extension for suppressor.

This barrel is for Models 439 – 539 – 639.
It may also fit Models 459 – 559 – 659.
Please CAREFULLY COMPARE your pistol barrel with the stainless steel barrel in the attached photographs taking special note of the barrel locking ring and the arrows pointing to the locking ring in 2 different styles of barrels.
- The blue barrel locking ring does not go all the way around the barrel. The locking ring smooths out and has a taper to the base of the chamber.
FYI: The blue barrel fits a Model 39-2.
- The stainless barrel locking ring goes all the way around the barrel and does NOT have a taper from the locking ring to the base of the chamber.
FYI: A competent gunsmith should be able to adapt this barrel to function in a Model 39-2.
IMPORENTANT:
This barrel can NOT be used in a Smith & Wesson Model which has a bulge at the muzzle end of the barrel.
