Up for sale is my rare S&W Lettered M27 dash 1. I regretfully must sell due to economic reasons: Covid made my job go away 1.5 years b/f retirement! I am disappointed to part with this beauty, but I don't shoot it and feel its time for it to find a new home.
The bluing on this 6.5" revolver is breathtaking. Before discovering a small rust spot under the left grip panel, I would have put the finish easily at 99%. I have no idea how or why it got there, but there are no other imperfections. It has never seen a holster, the cylinder has a VERY light drag line and the furniture is flawless. The bore and action are perfect. It does not have a box or its accessories.
I have not fired this for many (many) years and I refuse to do so because of its condition. I am not a collector but I definitely can appreciate its beauty. I will entertain trades with your cash to make up the difference. Only considering S&W 3"-4" .357 mag with honest wear or S&W .22LR revolvers. Price is $2800 plus shipping & insurance. Shipping is from me (individual) with my drivers license in the box to your FFL. If it needs to be FFL to FFL contact me prior and I can have my local FFL quote it. Only sales where legal.
