Not a fan of gold though. Would prefer silver...

I like the burnt bronze color but not all the distressing.

At least you wouldn't have to worry about scratches and holster wear.. haha.

Some like their steak rare and others want it well done. For me, my carry gun is only seen by me, except when I take it to the range. I have no need to "bling it up", as it serves one purpose, as a SD weapon. I maintain my shooting skills with it, keep it clean, and in good operating condition. That's it. But what others want to do to their guns is their business. This Shield is definitely unique. Even milled lightening holes in the slide and barrel.

Yeah, my carry weapons are tools. Anything that doesn't improve the feel or function is not necessary.

That said I do have a BBQ piece for those special occasions.
