My newest set of Culina stocks were waiting for me when I got in from the rig, Wednesday. I did some moving and swapping around of my Culina stocks on my guns and the new ones ended up on my nickel 29-2. These are Jatoba wood and I went with a speedloader cutout on them.

I had these feather crotch Claro Walnut grips on the 29-2, but I was having some clearance issues when ejecting the cases from the 44 which actually put a few light scars in the football cut on them. Now they are on my 25-2, which with the much shorter case of the 45 ACP give no problems on extraction.

Finally, here is my old 5" 27-2, which is wearing a new set of Cocobolo Culina stocks. I got these stocks at the same time I got the Claro Walnut stocks.

Wow Mudd, I'm amazed again. John & Jennifer hooked you up on another beautiful set. That's some serious decision making trying to figure out which gun to put what grips on. :D Enjoy!!

Yeah, I think they done me right on their grips too. I can't wait until I can get to the range and try the new grips out too, but right now I'm fighting a chest infection that has me feeling pretty punky. Hopefully in a few days I will be feeling better and will be able to make a range visit.

Chest infection? You need to change your brand of whiskey:D

Wow! That model 29-2 is a beauty (as are the others). We are glad you like the new Jatoba grips. The color adds a lovely warmth against the nickel. Thank you for sharing. Please send the Claro Walnut grips back to us for John to get those scratches out. Thank you! :)

Beautiful grips, you all know I'm a big fan of John and Jennifer. Be careful of Pete's suggestion concerning your medicine, too much will give you a BIG head ache!

Those are beauty's, I've only got fond butts, I'll have to get some for my square butt guns. I love these on my 19's.

I know which one of those I would prefer to shoot, and that's that lovely 45 colt. I thought it very nice indeed for them o offer to fix the dinged up set. I'll hold the gun for you until the repairs are made. :D

All 3 look beautiful though. I need to get a nice set for my 25-5 45 colt. Awesome looks. Congratulations!

That 25 is a -2 gun, so it's 45 ACP and not a 45 Colt, kraynky. But yes, it is one I really like to shoot and makes a great gun to bring to the range when I bring my custom ACW 1911 to the range. Both are laser accurate and I can experience either shooting a fine revolver or a fantastic semi auto with only bringing 1 ammo type to the range. One thing neat I found out last Tuesday at the range is that both the 1911 and that 25-2 put rounds over my chrono at essentially the same velocity. The 1911 has a 5" barrel and the 25 has a 6" barrel and recorded velocities with the same ammo were less than 10 ft/sec variation.
