On October 13th, well known forum member <22hipower> started a thread in the S&W Revolvers: 1961 to 1980 section titled "He asked for Full Coverage Engraving".

Here: He asked for Full Coverage Engraving. . . .

22hipower/Jeff starts off with "In 1990 a long time Forum member here, Model39 (sadly no longer with us), commissioned Jim DeMunck (2152hq), another long time Forum member, to engrave a S&W 629 for him. He asked that it be "full coverage engraving with gold inlay." I think he more than got what he asked for."

Jeff continues and posts some fantastic pictures of that M629. His great photographic skills did a fine job of showing that very nicely engraved revolver by 2152hq.

Jeff asked for some other examples of work done by 2152hq. I complied and showed a S&W .38/44 Outdoorsman engraved by 2152hq seen on posts numbered 35, 38 and 39.

I have 3 more non S&W examples and rather than intrude on Jeff's great thread, I started this one.

I am limited to 5 pictures per post so will show the three of them in 3 successive threads.

They will be a 1: Winchester Model 61 hammerless pump .22 Magnum with tubular magazine; 2: Baby Browning .25 ACP semi auto pistol and 3: a Meriden Model 15 hammerless .22 with tubular magazine.

And as you can see, and like the .38/44 Outdoorsman, all wonderfully engraved.

I hope you enjoy looking at them.

Bill

Seen below is the Winchester M61, and I should mention that 2152hq completely restocked and checkered the gun:
