I bought this from a friend a few years back, used it as collateral on a small loan, and I am finally getting it back after many years of regret. This is my favorite pistol, and I would like to know more about it. Unfortunately, it did not come with the box, or any documentation, but it is pinned and recessed, so it is from the 70's, correct? I would like to know its estimated value, and as much info as possible, but I do not know how much of the serial number I should post.
I had a gunsmith make some adjustments (cylinder was a little tough to open when I first bought it, and the spent shells were hard to eject. $25 later and it almost feels like a brand new revolver) Other than that, it has been very reliable and predictable. One regret that I have, I cleaned the discoloration off of the trigger and hammer when I first bought the gun. In hindsight, I literally erased a some of the guns character and I am really kicking myself for that.
Nickel finish
target trigger/hammer
Hogue monogrip (still have the original diamond Walnuts though)
the finish is in fair shape with minor scratches.
