A friend of mine at church told me about these knives he bought as a kid. He brought them last night and allowed me to take photos of them.

Have a blessed day,

Leon

I remember seeing little switch blades on a cardboard display you kind of pushed one out to buy it up on the Main road" little country store we traded at. They were .99 cents! They weren't too far from the big cooler (ice) that held the Ne-Hi sodas and the RC's so us kids would see them. If we collected enough bottles to turn in for the deposit, we might be able to get one.

I have one that my brother gave me several decades ago. I used to use it to slit open the the shrink wrap on new LP's that I bought. The only markings are USA on the main blade, no maker mark that I can find. I have no idea of the age but certainly long enough ago to not be Made in Japan. Or China.

I used carried a Tom Mix pocket Pen knife just like one of those for years. One guy at work would always say “ get out your Tom Mix and cut this for me, will ya ?”

Nice.
As a kid, I used to get knives like these from the antique shows and flea markets.
I've owned quite a few Imperial pocketknives and still have my great grandfather's Colonial Barlow that he gave me in 1978.

I've never seen one like that. The Morse code alphabet on the reverse would have been a super-cool feature.
