Ok. I've got a gentleman who wants to trade me a Performance Center 629-3 with scope for my M&P 9 and my M&P VTAC. Is it worth the trade? I don't own any revolvers currently and am not sure how much this is worth. Please help as we are meeting tomorrow to discuss it. Here's some pics.

I think it would be a pretty fair trade as long as the 629 is in good condition. Plastic guns can always be re-purchased and are readily available. The 629 should be the Classic Hunter I. I'm pretty sure it was manufactured for Lew Horton. Does he have the box and/or papers? If it's a quality scope it could be a plus

I think he has the box and all. It has been fired he says but not much. 10 rounds maybe.

I agree with 158 gr. you can always buy more plastic guns, the .44 is a true classic. I would guess the value with scope around $1200.00. The grips alone on the gun are worth $125.00

I would honestly doubt its only had 10 rounds through it. If I'm going to take the time/money for the scope, its going to be sighted in and well used. Keep in mind this gun dates to the early 90's. I have M&Ps. Question here is how much do you like you M&Ps and which would you shoot more and enjoy more

That's a good question!

Ok. I picked it up. I figured I could always buy another $400 m&p. the gun looks very nice and appears to come with everything it was supposed to. I'll post up some better pics tonight. May end up selling it or may keep it. Not sure yet but it is a very nice revolver. I've really been wanting an FN FiveseveN though so I'm not sure what I'm gonna do yet.
