Something about Pawn Stars

You guys got me. I had never even thought about tuning in until I saw this thread. Watched one episode, then another etc., and now I am hooked. I think most of what you see is pretty straight forward, perhaps re shot a couple of times, but so what. It is cheap entertainment and a damned sight more watchable than most of the garbage you see on TV. I stopped by a Pawnshop in south Tucson six months back, just happened to be in the neighborhood with a little time to kill. My curiosity got the best of me. The place was packed...with people selling just about any and everything. At least a dozen people waiting in line for the three clerks. Ii wanted to make an offer on a hedge trimmer but could not get anyone to wait on me as all the clerks were busy with sellers. You have got to be desperate to sell you stuff there.

i enjoy the show....seems to me they pay pretty good money for a number of items...chumley i believe is the mikey (from orange county choppers) which adds to the humor

This one's almost as good as the repo show on Tru. My all time favorite was the show about the sleazeball Dodge dealer in Las Vegas, though.
