Took the family shooting today.

15-22 with NC Star SRT scope, Remington Sub Sonic and Geco Std velocity, NC Star bipod, 27 degrees Celsius, hardly any wind. UPG-16 grip and SOCOM style Airsoft stock, 45 degrees offset irons, but not used. Home made (legal) suppressor, washer/spacer with 3 baffels.

75m against swinging plates which are center-fire rated. The .22 barely moved them. Was sharing the range with some AR-10 shooters :)

Your suppressor seems very effective. Well Done!

Thanks, I'm busy trying to get some actual baffles for it, it is currently literally washers, plastic spacers and a spring from a Maglight to hold it all in place.

I would post pics, but the internals are real rough, it was a proof of concept prototype and it worked so well I haven't adjusted it any :) One reason it is so quiet is the large internal volume and the large initial expansion chamber.

I'm not going to quote the posts, in case you plan on changing them...but unless you file another F1, I wouldn't be posting anything about getting new baffles.

Thanks for the concern but don't live in the USA so not applicable. I can buy suppressors over the counter where I live.

Our firearms are controlled like your suppressors though.

Nice rifle. I guess the "potato" joke hasn't made it out of arfcom, has it? ;)
