I am looking for a grip screw that will fit a vintage set of Sile walnut grips for my S&W 60 J frame round butt.

Is there a good source for purchasing grip screws? I'm thinking I may have to send a dealer the grips and have them match a screw that will fit.

Ero - I'm not a "dealer" but I do mess around with grips.
Sile uses a small, fine thread screw. I've never found any other screw that will interchange with them. The Escutcheon may have to be swapped to accept a new screw.

If you are intersted and would like to send them to me, I'm confident that I can hook you up one way or another to where you can use them.

It will not cost you anything other than postage. We'll call it a "Personal Karma"

I sent you an email.

What an offer! This is way more than I anticipated. Very generous of you. Thank you.

Mike:
Thank you for replacing the escutcheon on my grips and providing the appropriate screw. Your work is outstanding and the new escutcheon fits better than the original.

Thank you also for the gift of your time and materials. Your generosity is much appreciated.

My S&W 60 now has a new set of grips and I will remember your "personal karma" when I use them.

Regards,
Dan
