Try searching "Handloader Magazine" and articles by Brian Pearce. I know he did a heavy 44 load article in the last few years. I know I saved that issue . I will try to find it this weekend.

Lyman cast book.

Hornady Handbook 8th edition and the Speer Manual #14 have data for 300 grain jacketed bullets ... that's as heavy as they go in both the handgun and rifle sections .
Lyman 4th edition looks to data to 310 grain in cast .
Lyman 50th edition has data for 300 gr. jacketed and 300 grain cast .

Western Powder Handloading Guide 7.0 has data for 300 gr. and 320 gr. cast bullets , they may have more ... check updated load data center :
Western Powders, Inc. and go to load data center .

That's about all I could find in my books,
Gary

The Hogdon manual has loads for 300 to 355 grain bullets, but the cast loads are LBT LFN bullets with overall cartridge lengths that may be too long
for S&W cylinders.

My little Lyman pamphlet has 12 powders for the Lyman #429650
from 760fps up to 1075fps.

The Lee#C430-310-RF bullet has six powders from 901fps up to 1096.

2400 powder was one of the full loads that had acceptable pressures & fps.

Check ''Handloader Magazin'' and thank me later .

Lee and Lyman data are what I use for 300gr hardcast PC. H110 and #9 work well for me.
