Southerner's Rules of Survival

1. It doesn't matter how many guns you got; it matters how much ammo you have.
2. It won't matter how big your gun is if you don't know how to use it.
3. Guns don't kill; bullets do.
4. The best place for ammo is in your gun.
5. The best made plan only works if you know the danger is coming.
6. Stupid will kill you faster than a bullet.
7. Shooting is not Love; it is not better to have tried and missed.
8. Anyone with a gun pointed at you is the enemy.
9. In survival there are only two kinds of shooters; the good ones, and the dead ones.
10. Camouflage only works if your enemy can't see it.

works fer me.....!!!!

the really sad part is that some poeple still don't get it...........

Correct, and most of the people in the south don't get it either. Common sense about guns knows no geographical boundaries; nor does common sense in general.

Wherever you live; just remember that the average person you meet doesn't get it.

Yep, just like the guy that bought a gun Saturday at the Savannah Gun Show and went back Sunday to buy another. When he left, he was reloading the weapon in the parking lot he bought Saturday and put a round into his leg. Lesson learned the really hard way.

i see what youre saying, but those rules apply everywhere.

They do. That's why they should be called Rules for Survival In A Dangerous World. That be where all of us live; the southerners, northerners, the people in the east and west and those in the heartland of course. And the rednecks, the yuppies, the old hippies, the blacks and the whites; the people that are home bodies and those who travel. Those in the big cities and those out in the sticks. All hell can bust loose upon you at any time and you best be ready to deal with it in an appropriate way.

If you feel particularly safe from a violent intrusion into your little world you are actually particularly vulnerable.

The most important "Southerner's rule for survival" was left out, though - Never say "Hey Y'all, watch this!"

No.3 Somewhat correct. Gun don't kill people! Husbands that come home early DO!
