Like most of the good folks here, I like a good bargain. I prefer the function of the HKS speedloaders, and when I can get a good price on used speedloaders, I jump on them.
I just picked up a 587 for my 686+, and a couple of 29s for a 629 on layaway. It never really struck me until I noticed damage to two inner walls on the 587, how paper thin the walls were on these speedloaders.
Is anyone aware of a company that makes HKS-style speedloaders with a metal body that won't cost an arm and a leg?
