Does anyone know who manufacturers speedloaders for the 10-shot S&W Model 617 .22?

I'm aware of the DS-10 from Dave Skrzela and those made by California Competition Works. I know there are 1-2 other manufacturers out there (I have seen the loaders at matches) but I cannot seem to find who they are. Thanks.

I didn't know California Competition Works made a 10-shot speedloader for the 617/17. It looks exactly like the DS-10-SPEED loaders, except with aluminum instead of polymer parts. Maybe it's made under license?

Could be or perhaps the DS-10 isn't patented. There are 1-2 other makers out there.

The DS-10 also comes in two different versions -- one is injection molded and one is turned from stock.

617 Speedloaders

I carry a line of them for the 617 and would be interested in carrying the DS-10 too. I know it is proven and reliable probably be a great seller! People rave about them. I don't know about the CCW one never seen one. I have 617 speedloaders available now for immediate shipment you can have one in your hands tomorrow! These things are hard to get and sell out fast it's hard to keep them in stock. Speedbeez.com

617 Speed Blocks

At this time we don't carry one that size what we have that may work is the "Four Banger". It measures 3.1" x 3.1" and holds 24 rounds. The loaded height is apox. 1.25"

Loading blocks

Hey SpeedBeez...are the holes in your loading blocks beveled? Do I need the extended handle? It looks like the handle would make loading much easier?

Great questions

Yes, the holes look like they have a slight bevel.

The handle isn't necessary some people like it's kind of personal preference.

You can also go to your local hardware store and find different knobs and handles some people do that too.
