Speedloaders

I agree HKS useless and drops, spills ammo anytime. I like the strips by Tuff Strips or the older Bainchi.

I noticed on the Midway USA site that Tuff Strips makes em' in 5, 6, and 8 round capacity. Didn't see a 7 round but they probably make those too. Speed strips are nice if you've got the older ammo drop pouches like the LEO's use to use, you can store a speed strip in the pouch for fast access.

"Best" speedloaders, IMHO, are Jetloaders. They're a better Comp III. I've never had them drop rounds. I use them for ICORE and PPC. Being Comp III style they are bulkier than a Comp I or Comp II or HKS.

Agree on the Austrian Jet Loaders The Safariland Comps are also great. I dumped the HKS loaders in the early eighties when the better mousetraps came along.
I tried the Jet Loaders, then went back and bought out the entire supply from one gunstore. I have one drawer that is all Glock 9mm mags, and another is all J and K frame jet loaders.:)

When I first started in LE we carried our reloads in bandliers on our duty belts. About 1972 I started carrying Bianchi Speed Strips in my Dump Pouches. When I was attending the Treasury Academy in the District of Criminals in 1973 a good friend had a friend named Rogers who made grips and speed loaders in Florida. He ended up getting me a couple of the grips and couple of the speedloaders for K Frames and when I was able to get some duty leather I carried them on duty and off duty in a pocket. I later got some of the HKS and Safariland Speed loaders and those are the two I've stayed with since. In the 80s we transitioned to Semi Automatic Pistols and my revolvers and speed loaders went into storage. Since I retired at 55 yoa I will on occasion carry a revolver. Out come the HKS or Safariland Speedloaders and I still carry them in a vest or jacket pocket.

Rule 303

I've used both the HKS and Safariland. I much prefer the Safariland. I've never had one fail me but loading the comp I version with the little button is a pain.

whw, check Buffer Technologies. They have the Jet Loaders.
A quick glance showed them in stock for J frames, and I believe they have them for the K frames also.
