There was to be another primer manufacturing startup near Texarkana but it was apparently a fraudulent scam and the company took bankruptcy before ever getting close to beginning production.

Thanks for the update on Fiocch, that makes me sad.

Was the Texarkana outfit the one supposedly going into the old Lone Star Arsenal building?

THIS...........Made me remember Speer's good ol 45 acp "fliyin ashtray" bullet......Loved by me and lots of others.

Years ago, I loaded the flying ashtrays for my 1911, and my 625. They turned a 2 liter bottle inside out when they passed through, and I wasn't loading hot.

I managed to grab a case of Speer G2 Gold Dot LE 230gr 45acp JHP+P a couple of years ago from SGAmmo. Law enforcement only overrun. Great stuff. Glad I have more than I'll ever need. Probably not replaceable if Speer is shut down.

I did the same thing. I saw those 52 grain bullets and bought 4 boxes. I also went to the other WM and found 2 more boxes. I am going to load them in my 22 250. I am wondering how they will do.

I'm not certain but I think the 52 gr Speers may be plated rather than real jackets...I read it somewhere but who knows. I'm going to use 'em in 222 and 222 Mag so it won't matter. Over 3600 may cause problems but if they are plated it is pretty thick.. Going to WW again and wll get more if they have 'em. .Has anyone seen anything about the Vista buyout? Are they going to move out of the US?
