Based on some input I received from a recent post I decided to procure an additional reloading manual published by speer. The speer reloading manual #14, out of stock everywhere except amazon:

Reloading Manual #14 by Speer Bullets (2007)
$349.99 new (2 offers)
$232.75 used (5 offer

this has to be a misprint?

HA!! I went looking the other day, same results. Flea Bay was about the same. Midway said , maybe end of June. so I backordered. Cancelled that backorder when I found one at the gun show for a regular price. $33.95 + tax. :)

Some online book gouger without a clue about our hobby, trying to fleece a newbee reloader that needs one NOW.

Ran into the same issue with Amazon and Redding Imperial Sizing Wax. One vendor has the 2 oz tin for $34.99, and the 1 oz tin for $32.99.

Thought I had stumbled across a set of RCBS 9mm Carbide dies on Amazon ($63.95 free shipping). A little high but not full colonscopy these days. Click on the item and found this "Usually ships within 1 to 2 months."

Not everything sold on Amazon is actually sold by Amazon. I have seen those prices at times and IMO they are mistakes. I bought a Speer #9 last week in almost new condition for only $9.99 so the good buys are out there.

I'm waiting on the new Speer with all the Deep Curl rifle data. I kniw they have it downloadable from their website right now, but if I'm going to buy their manual, might as well wait till 1) they come in at a reasonable price and 2) they have all the data in there so I don't have loose printed pages flapping around.

Might just go with the Sierra book though. Still haven't decided which bullet I want to use for my rifles. Leaning toward the bonded Speer, but Sierra seems to be eaiser to find (under normal circumstances, not this crazed time).
