First "I'll take it" gets it with PM following. Personal checks from SWCA members works for me.
Prices include insured shipping from my FFL to yours.
Check out the pictures, ask for more if you'd like and please let me know if you have any questions.
May be interested in trades. Mainly interested in pre war N Frames but get a kick out of interesting stuff.
SPF to Doc Barranti 1. 38/44 Outdoorsman from Nov 1933 that received King accessories to include front sight blade, rear blade, cockeyed hammer offset for lefty shooting and a King trigger shoe (not sure if I've seen another one of those). I believe the mechanics also got some work as it is a step above a typical pre-war gun. There are definitely some character marks in the finish but it shoots wonderfully and still retains matching stocks. $1650 (with original service stocks only)
2. SPF Model 58 from mid-1978 worked over by Curt Hardcastle as a 44 mag / 41 mag convertible two-tone. It is currently configured as a 44 mag and shooting full house loads is impressive to say the least. The gentleman I bought this from noted that the work was done by Mr. Hardcastle but didn't have any documentation. I spoke with Mr. Hardcastle who couldn't remember this gun in particular but said that he completed a large number of these types of conversions many years ago. It is also round-butted under those fingergroove stocks. $2650
