I picked this set up a short time ago hoping to find a clean Model 10 to build into a PPC style revolver. But I haven't been able to find a gun and have moved on to another project, so I decided to let this set-up go rather than sit in the parts box. The bull barrel is 6" in length with a 15/16" diameter. The forcing cone and the recessed crown look great, as does the rifling (The rifling is oiled in the pic, not pitted). The Bomar rear sight is excellent shape, the screws aren't buggered, and they go limit to limit with ease. The set up does show some finish wear (light scratches and marks from use) but overall is nice condition and would make a great shooter on the right donor gun. Have no idea about the background on the set-up or who built it. The only mark is "166" hand scribed under the barrel in the extractor rod cutout (Maybe part of the original gun's serial number?). Just looking to get what I have in it. Thanks for looking.
