I've been very impressed with the Celestron 90mm Spotting scope. With the 32mm (40x) eyepiece I've not had a problem seeing 22 holes at 200 yards even if in the black. The tripod that comes with the scope is OK, but a little too flimsy for a windy day especially if using the 100x lens. Works perfect with the $30 Aspen micro-adjustable tabletop tripod.
Actually, you can get the scope with 32 mm eyepiece (no tripod or 12.5mm (100x) eyepiece) for $159 which is probably a better deal. The 40x is more than adequate to see 22 holes at 200 yards and you won't waste money on the tripod you probably won't use. http://www.amazon.com/Celestron-52268-C90-Mak-Spotting/dp/B0038QYRDO
