Spring break 2018

I work shift work and thankfully I’m able to stack some days off. Every spring break my son and I have a “brocation “. Last year we travelled the state, saw a ballgame, and stoped at various roadside attractions. Highlight was an armor museum to see an M113 like his grandfather was in during ‘Nam. This year we stayed at the inlaws in the mountains. Today we hiked in the National Forest and then in the afternoon we hung out with ole Horace and D.B. He is 12 and has zero interest in semi’s. All he loves is revolvers. I gave him a .32 over the winter and he loves it. Today he also used my N frame with some light .38 specials I reloaded. Couldn’t get enough of it. Making memories

That's awesome!

Since I'm stuck down in the Deep South for a while, I did the somewhat more traditional thing and went to Panama City Beach, FL.

Once I get back home I'll have a "break" a lot more like what the OP described...
