I finally got a spurred hammer for my 908. I like having the option of a single action first shot. Paper or BGs --sometimes you want or need to make that first shot count and no matter how much I practice I'm still a much better shot going single action. I always carry in a iwb holster or a shoulder rig so I'm not all that worried about snags.
now my 908 runs like my old walther PP but with a little more punch for when it's more convenient to carry something smaller than my 1911.
thanks to those who helped me with part #s and advise

LOL, I'm with you in that department! I finally can move pics from my camera to my computer, but so far they've all been too big to post here.

What part number did you use for that spur hammer. Would like to do the same to mine.

I ordered it from Numrich, the only place I could find that had it in stock. their part # was 357910.I looked it up under a m3906,but there are several models that have the same hammer.
the stirrup on the one they sent me was longer than the 908s and had to be swapped to fit.
I ran a couple of mags through it when I was done--worked great--you just have to remember to use the decocker to lower the hammer safely as it will rest on the firing pin otherwise.

Good idea to use the decock lever on any 3rd gen; I see the design as much more 'idiot-proof' than the 1911 variant I came from, in regards to de-cocking. You'll just have to collect more 3rd gens to get used to it! :D

Thanks for the Part#. I ordered from Numrich. Shouldn't be to hard to change out.
