Square butt to round butt presentations?

I was wondering if it would be possible to convert a set of pachmayr K frame square butt presentation grips(the older ones without the medallion) to fit a Model 19 2.5" round butt? I Have a set of presentations on my 586 no dash and really like them. They dont look to big or small and i think they would look right at home on the short barreled 19. (which is in DROS right now so i have to wait 10 days to get) Anyone have any suggestions?

You could do it, but for all the trouble it would take, just get a pair that are RB to begin with. The rubber grips are not that expensive and you will surely ruin the SB model for anything else when you carve on them.

I would but pachmayr doesnt make a set of round butt to square butt in the model of presentation's i'm looking for. They do in the "gripper" "decelerator" and "compac" models but not in this http://www.pachmayr.com/pachmayr/revolver.htm configuration

The SB Pres grips will probably simply fit a RB gun, period. They certainly do in J. Try it out.
