Received my Simply Rugged Sourdough Pancake Holster today and just thought I would share my thoughts...
First off, I am in awe with the beauty and craftsmanship; this is the first Leather Holster for me.:)
The custom fit is awesome and I can actually conceal the revolver easier with this holster than my shoulder rig...the holster/revolver rides very snug to my body.
So far, it feels real comfortable and I really like that there is no movement too, like with the flopping forward of the revolver, that I experienced with my shoulder set-up.

I prefer crossdraw in the straight-up neutral position slots, as I am riding atv, sitting, walking and fine this to work well for drawing the revolver in all positions. With a jacket on, I can also have the zipper down enough, so there is no restriction with clothing.
Also, with this set-up, I do not find it to be uncomfortable sitting in a chair/vehicle, which is one of the things I worried about, given the 6" barrel length.

Anyway, "for me", I couldn't be happier with this Holster and it was made/delivered to me in a 2 week time frame...:):D

He makes a fine holster. I have a Sourdough Pancake that I ordered for my 27. It also fits my 625JM without a problem. It fits my body snugly, holds the gun tight, and positions it just right for me, quite high although with the trigger guard covered. I'm not a large person (5'9" 140) but I actually can conceal my N frames with this rig. I'll definitely order more.

Yeah, and the more I wear it the more I like it...I've actually went to strong-side carry the last couple days. It's awesome and with just a shirt, it's concealed.
I would have a hard time believing how nice this works, if I wasn't wearing it myself.
I had just always figured a shoulder rig was the way to go for larger handguns...but not no more, to me this is like night and day.

Appreciate the Forum members that had previosly shared their thoughts on these holsters and got me to try one.:) Thanks!
