Received my Simply Rugged Sourdough Pancake Holster today and just thought I would share my thoughts...
First off, I am in awe with the beauty and craftsmanship; this is the first Leather Holster for me.
The custom fit is awesome and I can actually conceal the revolver easier with this holster than my shoulder rig...the holster/revolver rides very snug to my body.
So far, it feels real comfortable and I really like that there is no movement too, like with the flopping forward of the revolver, that I experienced with my shoulder set-up.
I prefer crossdraw in the straight-up neutral position slots, as I am riding atv, sitting, walking and fine this to work well for drawing the revolver in all positions. With a jacket on, I can also have the zipper down enough, so there is no restriction with clothing.
Also, with this set-up, I do not find it to be uncomfortable sitting in a chair/vehicle, which is one of the things I worried about, given the 6" barrel length.
Anyway, "for me", I couldn't be happier with this Holster and it was made/delivered to me in a 2 week time frame...
