Stainless Colt Government Model 1911 in .45 ACP. This one shipped in 1994 as a MK IV Series 80.
Every small part has been replaced with tool steel or drill rod parts from EGW: safety, hammer, trigger, magazine catch, slide stop, extractor, all pins, grip safety, mainspring housing, barrel bushing, firing pin, firing pin stop, rear sight.
The beavertail is beautifully blended and the front strap of the grip frame is high-cut. The magazine well is beveled. All replaced parts were "best of" at the time in the early 2000s when I got it.
This is an excellent shooter.
Sorry no box. Ships with three stainless "hybrid" metalform magazines.
