The Model B Super replaced the Mod. B in the production and in the Spain Army arsenals, and was in production from 1946 - 1965. There were 8 changes made to the basic pistol designs to make them Super models.
1. addition of a loaded chamber indicator
2. addition of a full magazine indicator in the magazine
3. addition of white dot on sights to improve target acquisition in low light
4. recoil spring was made captive on the spring guide
5. 1911 stype toggle link was replaced with a cam system (Browning Hi-Power style)
6. addition of a quick takedown lever to the right side
7. magazine safety was changed
8. trigger system was changed
This pistol comes with 3 extra original equipment magazines which are valued at $45 each. That's $135 for 3 factory mags.
I also am including some checkered factory wood grips in new condition, the Original STAR box, instructions, and cleaning accessories.
What a find... Pictures don't do this weapon justice. It looks way better in person. It's slide is tight, and it shoots great.
Making room in the safe for new toys. Sad to see it go. $450 or best offer takes it away... + $25 S&H
