Started KSD grip order process

And so far, it's pretty weird, but kinda fun too. I started at
their web store, and have been sending/receiving emails.
There's 10 hrs time difference from Turkey, (I'm PST,) so I
get replies after 11:00 pm, all starting with, "Hello Dear".
I am trying to get ones that look like the ones SVT28 got and
posted a picture of. I even stole his picture and attached it in
my emails to KSD. Thanks SVT28, (hope that was OK.) This
may or my not work out. I should have got Big Dog's CS45 &
9 grips back then.

Yep, they look nice, and YOU ARE the one that got me to
try to order them, thanks to your posts and "range report".
Unfortunately Amazon does not have any, so I have to go the
direct, or not so direct route.

Interesting. When I ordered mine through Amazon, they listed 20 sets available.

Maybe KSD and Amazon did a head count and found out there really weren't any left.

Longest part of the wait was probably the time KSD needed to produce the grips.. Once they reached DHL in Istanbul, they started moving really quick.

Final delivery was by the USPS.

Good luck in your adventure. I think you will be pleased with the result. Wait until you get the catalog that accompanies the grips.. You wanna talk bling!!!

I went to their website as was going to purchase a set, but I was unsure about the Turkey Pay... I emailed them and haven't received anything back yet... they are legit?

Not sure about anything yet, other than getting email replies
all three times, eight hours later. Still weird seeing, "Hello Dear"
at the beginning of their reply. I'll have look up the translation
I guess.
Seems GaryS had/has an issue getting some "special" grips done,
but probably needs some grief anyway.
I'll update at some point.

good looking,great fit,and even better feel.....BUT....rumor has it there have been hairline cracks develop in the back straps.............don't ask me how I know this

I still want some for my 1066, but they still haven't made any arched back for the 10/45 series that I'm aware of.

Got my normal email from KSD this morning. Except there were
close, detailed pictures of "my" Chiefs Special 45 grip.
The message was, "It's ready Dear, you like? ". Then, "You
want like for CS 9 also?"
So far so good I guess.

So, grips are with DSL now. Four days from first email.
I even asked them about GaryS's 3914TSW factory grips he,
well "allegedly" sent them a year ago. They said yes. Ready
to go, and sent me pictures. Not sure they all are for a 3914TSW
though.

Well, got pictures of both grips Sat. A.M.. The CS45 was great,
the CS9 was for something else. (?)
Told him no, sent him pictures of both the 45 & the 9. He said
he made "Special" 9 by mistake, "will fix".
I was told both were done Fri, and paid for them Fri P.M.
I was told Fri P.M. that they both were with DSL.
Yesterday, I asked what was up, was told with DSL, 3-4 days
I'd get.
Very worried about the CS9 being correct.

Mine were shipped by DHL, and I could track them all the way. Delivered to Denver by DHL and then to USPS for final delivery.

Hope he got the mistake corrected.

Unless I am missing something, they have nothing for the mid-size 45 (like 4553TSW,) right? Too bad... they look nice!

Iggy, you are not the whole world. Just a big part of it :roll eyes:
Got the grips yesterday, and one was for a Chiefs Special, one
was not. Not sure what it is for, posted pictures. Maybe some
one wants it?
Re-contacted KSD about the problem. We will see.
Like the CS 45 grips, I think it feels better, need to test drive
still.

Looks real nice. Sure looks better than them issue snow tires that come on the Chiefs. I like the S&W logo.

I couldn't tell much difference in the recoil between the two.. They perk your gun right up there.

Hope you can get some kind of satisfaction on the other pair.. He was warned.
