I am considering holster upgrade for my 9mm shield 1.0

My current IWB is not tuckable. So I’m looking for tuckable IWB.

I like the idea of changeable shells for a holster and both stealthgear mini ventcore, and the aliengear 4.0 offer this option.

The aliengear is less expensive if for IWB only about half the price of the stealthgear.

I have read reviews and everyone seems to loves whichever one they have. But I have not found a review comparing them head to head, or a review where. Person has had both.

Has anyone here tried both of these ? and if so which one was preferred and why?

I have been carrying Alien Gear IWB for Shield .40 for about 3 years, very comfortable. Same size as your 9mm. Recently someone mentioned UrbanCarry. I checked it out and they have an excellent Revo holster rig which is leather. Although I like the Alien Gear 3.0 Cloak tuck, I like the features on the Revo. I plan on ordering one after the first of the year. The more I studied the Revo the more I liked it.

Got a quick question if someone can assist me. How do I edit the 'badge' picture in My Profile. I have tried reading all of the instructions. I don't recall how I did it in the first place. thanks!

I have had the 1.0 Aliengear for around a year. I really like it. The alien is injection molded plastic. I don't really care for kydex.

I am currently leaning towards Black arch protos M.

I really loke the breathability and also the wrap around 3/4 kydex for consistent retention. It too allows shell swaps. It is a bit less expensive than the stealthgear, but still double the aliengear price.

I am a smaller guy with 33” waistband. Many complaints on AG for 32” or under waist. At least with the AG 3.0 and not breathable.

Anyone else have the Black Arch holster?
