OK, I am a Georgia resident, and have property in RI. I see a gun I may want to bid on listed on GB. Of course LGS is closed today in RI. So the question is, if i buy the gun, and have it shipped to LGS in RI, they can forward to LGS in GA when I go back. Right, or No?

This has to happen today

Sounds like you are looking to open a big can of worms.

Have you asked the seller if he can hold it until you get back to GA?
Have you asked the ffl in RI if he will hold it then ship to GA when you go back?(opps, I see he is closed today)

As long as the firearm ships to an FFL, it doesn’t matter where the buyer lives. The ultimate transfer to the buyer must be in their state of residency. If you want to pay multiple shipping/transfer fees to various FFLs, that’s up to you and their willingness to accommodate you.

Pete;

Have it shipped to me! No storage fees ever, AND I will try it out and evaluate it for you...also for free. Then whenever you would like to take possession I'll make some kind of arrangements to get it to you.:)

GB seriously??????? Are you thinking the auction ends today and you are placing a bid at the last minute? If so I believe you have X days to pay and respond with your desired shipping info but maybe I'm wrong in that.

Your best bet is ship to LGS in state you are a Resident .
For "legal" reasons you can have only one legal residence ...
That's the state you can buy a firearm in , so ship it to the state you legally reside in . Keep transactions as simple as possible the LGS in your home state will hold it for you .
