Stiff Rear Takedown Pin

I have a new 15OR and the rear takedown pin requires the use of a hammer and punch. This is a lot stiffer compared to my 15A which can be pushed out with my thumb. Is there anything to do with this or should I start carrying a hammer and punch?

Rear Pin

I just went and tried mine. Its alot more stiff than my other OR but i can push it with my thumb. Maybe it will loosten up.

Mine loosened up quite a bit. At first I had to use a tool to pop it out, now my thumb does it just fine.

Mine can be pushed with a finger or thumb. I would try pushing it a few times to see if it loosens up.
