Concealment express. Look on last lage under new. This is non tuckable. Specific to 3.6"
Concealment express tuckable. This has open bottom and will fit all the 2.0 M&P. The 4.25 and 4" barrels simply extend past the kydex. While the 3.6" appears may end lretty close to the end of the kydex
Foxtrot concealment. You have to call them but they will make specific to 3.6". Owner uses his own 3.6" gun as mold. This is non-tuck.
I have called foxtrot concealment and talked to the owner. and he has agreed to make a prototype tuckable version for the 3.6". I think this prototype is still being worked on as I only talked with the owner last week about procuring this model specific to the 3.6".
Also, all The 2.0 4" holsters out there will work, the only down side is that you are carrying 0.4" more kydex then really needed.
As for the 3.5" gen 1 compacts, Foxtrot concealment and concealmemt express i believe have holsters for the gen 1 models. I also think Bravo concealment has a gen 1 torsion holster availabke but not positive.
Just to help clarify, the fitted kydex holster I have for my 9c, DOES NOT CORRECTLY FIT on my 3.6 2.0 Compact. I can get the new one in, but it is extremely hard to remove. Reason - the controls are different, and in different locations!
It's as simple as that. Side by side, you can only say they are similar, very visibly discerned!
The foxtrotconcealment holster I have for my 9c fits that gun perfectly.
The foxtrotconcealment holster I have for my 9 Compact, 3.6. 2.0 fits that gun perfectly!
Heres a novel approach , want a shorter3.6 2.0 holster from a company that makes a 4" model , Call the company your interested in if they make your 4" model and ask for a shorter version . You might be surprised how many will do simple mod !!
I am carrying my 3.6 every day in a holster by K Rounds LLC that is a 9/40C gen 1.0 holster. Even with the tension screw pretty tight, no issues with draw stroke. I purchased it on Amazon.
Late edit: took out link - wasn't sure if largest online retailer sale was okay. Erred on side of caution.
I found the same absence of holsters specific to the 3.6. So, I took a gamble on a DeSantis Slim Tuk. If it didn't ultimately work to my liking, not much would have been lost.
Upon delivery, the pistol fit "ok". The molded shape did adequately match, however, it was too long and only held the pistol in place by pressure along the slide.
But, with a modest amount of modification, it now works perfectly. I trimmed about 1/2 inch off the bottom, lightly sanded and heated the trimmed end to dress it up. I also heated the area in front of the trigger for a positive snap in and out of the holster.
Inam saying that is you bought the shorter barrel gun deliberately for the shorter carry length. If you ise the std 4" holster you defeated yourself. And you have to wait or find a holster that is specific made for the 3.6" gun.
If that is not a big deal to you. That you have an "extra" 0.4" longer holster than is minimally required for the shorter barreled gun. Then simply buy whatever 2.0 4" compact holster you want. It will work fine.
Kydex is really easy to mod. Tin snips, bandsaw, jigsaw, and a hair drier. A heat gun has more power so makes things go quicker but a hair drier will work.
I got a kydex shell insert for a sticky holster from Cooks Holsters. They didn't have the 3.6" listed as an option, so I emailed them and they confirmed they do make kydex for 3.6. Very happy with the customer service, and the holster fits great.
IWB Hybrids like from Comp-Tac will work and that's what I tried a 2.0 in this design tend to be far more comfortable to wear than hard skinny kydex only .
