I still have my Model 94 30-30 1941 vintage. Took my first buck with it in 1953. It shows a lot of wear from carrying it but still shoots fine. And Yes, it still puts meat on the table.
"Looks good", but i don't see any Venison laying around anywhere.

He couldn't find any 25-35 ammo!
Over the decades I have shot an antelope with my friends 1894 rifle in 25-35. Also shot a bull elk and mule deer buck with a 1894 rifle in 38-55, wish I had never sold that rifle. Of course a few mule deer have gone into our freezer when using a 94 carbine. A very large Utah grizzly was killed with a 94 carbine in 25-35 using full metal jacket ammo. A very interesting story.
