Anybody have a good all natural, homeopathic, metaphysical, non-toxic "green" way to keep the
big buggers away?

Two nice Spring days this week and they're like locusts already. Fairly new to this neck of the woods, last few years.

Last year somebody recommended listerine in a spray bottle for mosquitos on the deck at night. Maybe I'll try that.

I found that if you don't squish them they don't smell, so that is my suggestion don't squish em.

I use "catch & release" just like with the wimmin'.

A skillet at about 300f with some bacon grease, flour tortillas,queso blanco and a salsa fresca should do it.....Quite tasty.
After the 2'nd or 3'rd batch they'll get the idea and leave you be.

Stinkbugs you say, well since I happen to be an expert dealing with Halyomorpha halys

I would suggest eating a Extra Large can of B&M beans mixed in with a large boiled cabbage at least 5 hours before it gets dark.

Then go out on your deck and sit around for a few hours.
I believe they will move on.

There's a tree outside my door that produces some wierd looking fruit. It has pink flowers at the end of winter, not quite spring warm yet. Anyway, the fruit attracts them buggers. They seem to hatch their babies there, maybe their born with no eggs. The babies live on the fruit for a while.
I digress. Cut the fruit off before it gets grown. It completely solves the problem. Do you have one of these trees. They might be some kind of magnolia.

Use a hand vacuum and dispose of them as you see fit.

Green way heck go to Southern States and buy some good old fashion stink bug control expensive about $30-$40-$50 dollars a gallon can’t remember off hand, but makes about 32 gallons if mixed by instructions course I usually double or triple it don’t tell EPA, green I doubt it but if you want to get rid of them it seems to work ok not sure instructions say the fly off to die. I would rather see the little buggers drop right in front of me so I know their dead. Correct about not squishing them it draws more. I've also used a shop vac to suck them up and plug the escape holes don't know if lack of O2 caused them to die but there were a lot of them belly up and stinking, (don’t open indoors) not sure if flushing works anagi don’t squeeze to hard don’t try hot water they stink worse, (don’t ask how I know). A couple years ago they were terrible here but after spending a couple hundred dollars on different concentrated sprays they are still here but not as bad course they could be heading north. Nothing worse then laying down for a good nights sleep and all of a sudden getting bused by a B52 in a tunnel, or hearing them drop sounds like a squirrel dropping a acorn on a glass table. I’ve also heard preying mantis will eat them and maybe guinea fowl. Good luck and don’t give up they will overwhelm you especially in the fall when they look for a place to winter down.
