Here's a current photo of my SD9VE tactical budget pistol build. Lol. So far just a lot of modifications to the frame including a full texture stipple, double undercut trigger guard, magazine release relief, & takedown assambly scallop. Also an Inforce APL.
I plan on getting the slide milled for a Burris fastfire 3 and an apex flat trigger when it comes out.

Ahhh...very nice! I intend to do the same. My mods are more internal as of now instead of external.

Did you sand down the factory stipple first? Or stipple over it?

dremmeled the factory texture smooth first. i don't have any progress picture.
