So, I think I've finally finished my M&P9 build. I know as far as aftermarket support goes, Glock is king, but I just liked the ergo's of the M&P more so I decided to go with it instead of a Glock 19. This is my first Smith and Wesson, but won't be my last. I'm actually really surprised the M&P line isnt more popular...or maybe it is and I just have no clue ;)

Anyhow, I just wanted to share this with other S&W enthusiasts.

Build Parts List:

S&W M&P9 m2.0 (the most recent release that came with the new semi flat trigger similar to what comes in the new 10MM)
Floyds magwell
Floyds magazine extensions (+1 and a +6)
Custom slide work by Floyds Custom Shop
Trijicon tritium night sights
Holosun 508t
Blacklist Industries barrel
Apex Tactical flatty trigger (if anyone else ran into issues with the apex sear and sear actuator, I'd love to hear about it...I think there may be some compatability issues with the new M&P9 factory trigger)
Inforce Wild 2 weapon light (for when it's on my night stand)
Streamlight TLR7a for when I'm carrying
Tier 1 Concealed holster (slim)
Safety Plugs - it came with a safety but my thumb would sometimes engage it so I removed it and installed the plugs from S&W.

Floyds was kind enough to put them on since they had to take the factory ones off before cerakoting.

Congratulations. We’ll done.

A Burger King of a gun—your gun; your way. Good choices on components and ‘smithing.

Now, how does it shoot? What’s the trigger like? What do you feed it? How many rounds through it?

You must be excited to post in the middle of the night.

S&W did their first one billion dollar year last year :)

Of course there's a fair number of revolvers and rifles in there, but the M&P auto loaders sell pretty well.

Thanks. Yeah, I work in IT and was doing overnight maintenance. While I was waiting for my servers to finish updating I decided to throw a picture up online :)

I only have a couple hundred rounds of my reloads through it. 147 grain hard cast from acme, 125 grain hard cast from cant remember, and 124 grain jhp's from everglades ammo. They all fed great without any issues so far.

If I could only choose 1 upgrade, it would be the trigger and I haven't even had the chance to live fire with it yet. I just installed it a couple days ago, but am thoroughly impressed with the reduction in over travel, the pronounced wall, and the improved reset. Can't wait to try it out this weekend.

Can't wait to get my hands on one of those 10MM's and add to that billion dollar number
