Stirling engine kit/"toy"

Anyone have one of these?. I say a How Is Made show on a precision one made of brass from Germany. Very exacting measurements. There are less expensive ones that still work made in China. I want one. They are just plain cool.Had a similar German engineered model when I was a kid, have no idea what happened to it.

Never had one, but I have some Mamod steam engines, not as cool as a Stirling engine (in any sense) and kind of messy, but still a lot of fun.

I really want the Geraman made one just due to it's craftsmaship but it is darn expensive for just a "thing" $200 or more. It's all brass and stainless,

I have known about the Stirling Engine for many years, (in the fans I mentioned earlier), but never knew how they worked. Thanks for the illustration, even an old guy like me can understand.

I kinda like the natural wood finish rather than dark. I think natural goes better with Stainless and brass

I ended up getting the HB33 "Triple Tattoo"
A whole lot of parts and precise engineering goes into these little engines.
