I have a Promag recoil pad, easily slips on and stays on. Price tag is $7.50. I got it to get rid of the "cheese grater" from the stock. So far has worked well, picked up an extra one for the 15-22 for the same reason. Face it neither of these have enough recoil to need this pad but adds some functionality and some better fitting to the shoulder. Beware not to order the 4 position carbine model that can also be found because there are too small.
