Stock Up!

I can't remember how many Mezcal worms I've eaten back in my 20s. Honest, I can't remember! I do know I've never woke up in a tub of ice in a warehouse with some vital organ removed.
Light beer is about my limit, maybe some malt beverage coolers, like Kool-Aid on steroids. Keep that tequila away from me!

I saw a documentary about bats in Mexico. It seem that only on variety pollenates that Agave and they were being destroyed, in fear of blood sucking bats! Everything is supposed to be on the comeback.

I remember that back in my much younger days that I drank quite a bit of Tequila and Mescal. Don't remember much of what happened after though.

Been sober over 40 years now. ;)

It was all about Bacardi Rum and Vodka back in the UK during my youth. Trouble was the vodka was Smirnoff, and it was pretty undrinkable until mixed. Somebody brought me the real stuff out of Ukraine once, and that was frighteningly smooth and drinkable.

Until I had good vodka, I thought all Russians were masochists.:D

If I remember rightly (and I am not sure I do) the label of choice on my last three motorbike trips to Mexico was Cabrito, the sign of the goat. As much as we liked to joke about it, I don’t think it has any mystical powers. However, since you tend to drink it straight, along with whatever beer you may be drinking, you can run up a high BAC in a hurry.
You could do the same with vodka or rye whisky. DAMHIK.

Never stand in a mud puddle while drinking Tequila.

Joe Nichols addressed that issue with the help of Gary Hannan and John Wiggins. :D

In my younger days tequila had a tendency to "encourage" me to chase cars and howl at the moon.

Well I didn't chase cars...I did chase girls and do a little howling. Last time I drank Tequila I was either celebrating becoming an Alaskan(again) in the Clear Sky Lodge in Clear/Anderson Alaska in the mid 70s or celebrating something with some of my wife's nursing friends in Mel's Bar in Chestertown Md...in the mid 80s? But they all got drunk both times...so I ain't sure!

It’s been my experience the only people drinking tequila are women driving the pavement princess Jeeps to prove how mean they think they are.

You lost me. Could you clarify what you're talking about please.

Around here, and this may be just a local trend, women are buying Jeeps to drive around town. Some spend thousands to jack them up with tires and lift kits. Winch bumpers big lights and lots of stickers in the rear window proclaiming “I’m a B” or “ Don’t mess with this B”. Then they take their Mall Dolls to the bar and then all parade over to a local park.
I’ve met a few of them the last couple of years. Every time it’s time to get muddy, it’s in my Superduty. So I guess my point was these are the only people I’ve met that drink tequila.

I don't do a lot of Tequila but I do enjoy an occasional Margarita. Now I stay stocked up with at least a case on hand since "The Great Bourbon Shortage Of Hurricane Katrina". PX is my friend.

Olive oil is also supposed to be in short supply.
Something about the bad weather in Spain

Even when I drank, I could not even smell Tequila. Foul stuff!
