This is the 4th time I have purchased stocks from "Vitoonmakers" on Ebay. Each time, the stocks have been excellent in quality, fit, and value. I have also been very pleased with the expeditious nature of their shipping procedure. I ordered my most recent ones on 5/20/24 and received them 5/28/24. Here are two pair on my 64-3 and 66-4. As a note of interest. Other pairs of this makers stocks, that I have had for a few years. Have stood the test of time and exposure to 357 magnum cartridges.

Nice looking handles! Got several pair from Vitoonmakers myself, a few combats and a set of bananas. Great quality and value.

CH4, is that second set of combats on the 629 maple? Or some exotic wood from Thailand? Either way they look great. I’ve got a few pair. Some nice and some the color is a little orange.

Thanks!
629 is maple
610 is Koa
65 is walnut… I think

Those stocks look great, can you provide more info on them?

For the Banana stocks they were listed as ''Nice wood #9". Later in the description it was stated as local hard wood. Cost was $75.00

For the Combat stocks they were listed as Rosewood. Cost was $95.00

I was born and raised a city boy, so I personally don't really know one wood from another, from a technical standpoint.

I’ve only gotten two sets of grips from Thailand, a SB set for a K frame and a RB set for a J. Each pair is from a different vendor. I got them specifically because they are very dark (rosewood? ebony?) Both are smooth combat grips with finger grooves and differ from S&W factory in that they enclose the back strap. I’d love to find a listing for another pair of round Js.

Here is another pair from the same vendor. I purchased these stocks last year. This 65-3 has become a regular companion on my weekly range trips. I experienced an immediate improvement in my shooting ability, as compared with the original service, or magna stocks.

I’m looking at a set of pre war K&L medallion grips from eBay seller “clickatme”

Has anyone used this source? They look good from the photos. All the “real” ones on eBay look pretty rough to me and while I did find one set from a non eBay seller that looked good they were priced at double what I paid for the revolver.

And have there been any Customs issue with getting these? I’ve never bought from an international source before.

I just looked at both vendor pages on Ebay. There may be some association between the two vendors. Photos on both pages appear to be the same. My source also lists the K&L pre war medallion grips and they both have "_at_me" on their pages. There has been no issue with US Customs that I am aware of. Vendor ships via DHL and they are fast.

Very nice grips.

I bought a couple of fancier sets from Vitoonmaker and they’re really nice. No issues at all. Also bought a set from jaruwan.p for my King Cobra 22 and they’re very nice but have a couple of areas that aren’t as well made but still very good.

I also stumbled upon "Vitoonmakers" on Ebay a while back and decided to give their stocks a shot. Gotta say, I've been pleasantly surprised every time. The quality, fit, and value are top-notch. Plus, their shipping is lightning-fast.

Thanks for the responses.

Well I just ordered the grips, they are going on the K200 I picked up a couple weeks ago. I received a 6% discount offer from the seller I named, so I went with them. And yes, they look the same as the ones sold by Vitoonmakers.

The gun originally came with a shrunken pair of Franzite stag grips that I replaced temporarily with a set of Magna Diamond grips that I have. If they didn’t cover the Canadian proof mark in the rear corner of the frame I’d leave them on it.

My estimated date of arrival is June 28. Hopefully I’ll receive them before that.

Vitoonmaker? I see he has a pair on his page. Those are K RB Targets, I call them Banana grips, with checkering?
Those made by S&W go for big bucks.
