I have a 27-2 with the 3.5" barrel made in 1969. I want to put the target stocks on it. I don't shoot it very well with the magnas. What target stocks would have been on a Model 27-2 from this time period ?

May Also suggest keeping the grips and getting a Tyler T Grip for it...Might be just what you need and then you dont have to spend the 100-125 on the football cutout black washer Target grips...

Check eBay for target grips also.
The stocks will look like the ones shown below (note the area where the stocks meet the trigger guard) and will have stock circles (not shown) that are finished in black oxide. Usually, stocks on models other than the 29 and 57 were made of American walnut (the ones shown are made of Goncalo alves).
