store stuff in ammo cans

i might have to store brass bullits and dies for months in a rental storage i have good ammo cans with good seals and also 1000 rounds of loaded ammo will the cans be good or should i try somthing else and will primers keep longer if thay are vacumsealed

The ammo cans should be great. Vacuum sealed might be even better. A desiccant in the cans might be best.
One suggestion is that you put the cans in old boxes and throw crappy clothes on them, thieves might just miss the ammo.
 
rundownfld idea of covering with old clothes is a good one, but not just for camouflage. Packed all around the cans, it will act as insulation. Most storage buildings I know of have no heat or cooling, and excessive heat can have some affect on the loads over a long period of time.
 
Wal Mart and like stores sell plastic marine boxes. Like ammo cans only plastic. Yellow or orange that have the snap lid with gasket.I agree with insulating somehow. If it is not climate controlled storage it is subject to big temp and humidity swings.
