Thinking I must have a bunch of ammo stored, I realised after getting the honor of teaching friends and family to shoot, that most of my once abundant .22 .38 and 9mm is severely depleted.
What I thought was good stuff in my ammo cans, turned out to be old shotgun shells, obscure obsolete (think .43 swiss rimfire, 16gauge slugs. .22 shot.shells ect. ).

So now I'm shooting pocket ..22's. Stuff from the back of my sock drawer. Every round is precious. Has worked for the most part, but some Super -X's from the thirties cases have failed, And other failed at the initial firing pin indentation when i tried them twice. The point is though, my marksmanship has improved because now every shot is dear!
