Greetings folks.
The name is Carl, the location is Badger Lake, WA.

I was about tio sell an old model 10 I had kicking around here for the past 20 years. The bad news is that when I got it out into the light, it looked much better than I remembered. Darn - it locks up very tight, got a great trigger, and shoots perfect.

Couldn't sell it - just couldn't do it.

Bought some new factory grips instead to replace the rubber Pachs.

I've only got one other Smith - a six-inch 686. There are a couple of J-frame snubbies (Taurus and Charter) that I use for carry, but I think a 2-inch Model 10 (snubby on steroids) is the Smith I want next.

I have a model 10 2" and it shoots great, its a 1967 vintage with some carry wear.
Mechanically its like new. Shoots point of aim at 7yrds. Nice double action and heavy enough for quick follow up shots.
CCW with it during the day at work.
At night mostly CCW with a Kahr CW45.
Get one you will not be disappointed.

Welcome from Texas Carl. Great forum, have fun, learn lots, share what you know.
