Can anyone suggest a good pocket holster for the M&P 9C Compact Handgun?

Thanks!

My 9c is thinner and easier to aiwb ccw than my g27, and a chopped g23. Glocks are more square and bit thicker...enough to stick out.

I have no trouble pocket carrying my M&P 40c, which, as far as I know, is same size as the 9c. I use a DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster, and it works well. As a bonus, that one Nemesis holster fits the M&P 9 and 40 Compact models and the Shield.

Sticky Holsters are great I have two of them now. One for my Ruger LC9s
And one for my full size M&P 9mm. I was hesitant about trying them but glad I did.

I use one similar to the Desantis Nemisis holster for my little pocket 380. It's made by a local here in NC that's usually got a booth at our local gun shows. For $18 it works very well and the outer finish on it is a lot like the Rhino lining they put on truck beds. I've been carrying it a little over two years now and other than being broke in its just as good as new.

I've got a Shield 9 and the 40c and can't imagine pocket carrying either of those due to size. For me it would be like carrying a brick. They are excellent for IWB though.

As you see, it's not commonly used as a pocket gun.

I doubt you'll find many (if any) pocket holsters dedicated to that gun exactly. You will probably get one of the small, med, large more group fit holsters.

I have no experience with pocket holsters, but I've heard and seen good things about the "sticky holster" seems like a good concept.

The heaviest 9mm pocket gun I carry is my P938, over a pound pulling your pants down vs a .380 at 11oz loaded.

Just rec'd a Remora in the mail for IWB carry, can be used for pocket carry as well. The only pockets I could fit it in would be cargo or large coat pockets tho. Inexpensive and well made.

Ebay has lots of vendors that make and/or sell a wide range of highly economical pocket holsters, I've picked up 2 or 3 in the last few years, and have been very satisfied. A pocket holster is a very simple thing, it really doesn't have to come with a big-name pedigree, and high-dollar price tag to function well.

In addition to the brands already mentioned look at Blackhawk and Uncle Mikes. Good thing is they are usually $15-20 so experiments won't kill you. If they don't list the 9c on their size chart just go for their largest size as most are designed for guns like the Shield. BTW, I sometimes carry my 9c in a pocket in the summer in my Wrangler cargo shorts. The opening for the top pocket is cut differently than regular jeans and really helps.

My brother and I use Desantis Superfly holsters. I have one for my .380 and he has one for his Shield. The stickiness does wear off, but it still works fine for me.

I use the DeSantis Nemesis, very similar to the Superfly, buy thiner. I've successfully carried a 9c in one, in relaxed fit jeans, using the smaller magazine.

I use a DeSantis Superfly to carry my Shield in a back pocket. The Shield is smaller than the 9c, but they might have one that fits.
