if so, what are the model numbers?
Thanks for any info.

I transport my pistols to and from the range, with no round in the chamber and no mag, in a Sticky, in my range bag that says DeWalt.
I would NEVER put a pistol in a Sticky or other soft holster in my pocket.
There are enough potential issues with carrying a defense pistol in a pocket without multiplying the possibilities by an exponential factor.
That's just my worthless opinion.:)

I carry my BG2 in a Muddy River Tactical kydex, that fits perfect, light weight, covers the mag release and completely encloses the trigger.

I'll take a look for you in a bit. I'm not sure the number they'll recommend, but I'm using the same Sticky that I bought for my LCP Max. It works great. I also use the nylon holster that came with the Max.
Edit to add: I'm using the SM-2. Fits the Bodyguard 2.0 fine.

To each his own.... (y)

I am very fortunate to associate with a group of very close friends (fellow hole-punching deplorables) who happen to be retired military, LE, and high-level security professionals. These guys are very experienced and really good shooters.

Half of them conceal carry. We meet at a range once or twice a month for fun and practice. Last Saturday there were 12 of us.

If I were to tell them that I am carrying my BG2 in a Sticky in my pocket they would immediately ask me to leave, consider revoking my membership, and tell me to come back when I have the BG2 in a real holster.:ROFLMAO:

I don't think there is anything wrong with Sticky holsters, or Uncle Mikes either for pocket carry. I have used both for years with perfect satisfaction. I do have one really good leather pocket holster that I like a lot too.
The lighter the trigger pull, the more important it is to have a more rigid holster, in my opinion.
The BG 2.0 that I have has a thumb safety. I ordered it with one because BG 2.0's typically only have trigger pulls in the range of 3.5 to 4.5 pounds.
In my opinion that is too light for pocket carry (even in a pocket holster) unless the gun has a thumb safety. Too much chance the trigger will catch on a fold of clothing when drawing or re-holstering.

Thank you sir.... I thought that was the one but wanted to be sure.
I have the sticky MD1 but it's just a little bit to big.
Thanks for the info.

Absolutely. To each their own. I'm retired military but certainly don't consider myself an expert. Ruger ships the LCP Max with a nylon pocket holster so I'm thinking it's good to go.
I tried carried a micro 9 in a kydex pocket holster and it wasn't for me.

I have used the Ruger holster; it's a little flimsy for me; I can pull the trigger on the BG2.0 through the holster. I have ordered a kydex pocket holster from Aholster; I have one for my lcr and it's fantastic; hopefully their 2.0 will be just as good.

I have been using this holster since March no problems , some have said that the mag might release but I have never had that problem .

That would seem to me to be more than a little dangerous.

What am I missing?

There are some great choices in holsters.
A pocket holster (kydex) that does NOT cover the mag release would NOT be my choice.
The Muddy River Tactical kydex holster covers the mag release.
And, in fact, I have tried to push on the area covering it and I cannot get it even close to releasing the mag.
In my limited experience, carrying a pocket defense pistol in my pants pocket creates an elevated awareness of safety issues - inadvertently putting something in the same pocket, or creating unusual pressures through body movements or bumping into something.

Perhaps I'm overly paranoid??

I take the opposite tack; the mag release on my Alabama rig is below, but next to, the top of the holster. The holster itself makes it impossible to hit the mag release. Have several Alabamas, and have never had a mag get loose.
