I'd like to pick up a spare recoil spring assembly for the BG2.0.
Even more, I'd like to substitute new springs in some of my 10 round magazines.
It's a spring stacking issue, and lots of use doesn't solve the problem.
I have 6 magazines, and the problem isn't present in all of them. Some hold ten without much trouble (using a LULA), and will readily lock in against a closed slide.
Others, it's a real struggle getting in the 10 round, and requires FORCE to lock in against a closed slide. I wouldn't trust it for an emergency reload with a closed slide.
Otherwise, the all the magazines work fine.
Anyone have an OEM parts source?
The recoil spring can wait, but I'd love to stop segregating magazines.

Nothing out there yet. Probably another 6 months at least, if ever.

S&W has generally been good in selling most parts for most of their older firearms to the major parts sellers (Midwest Gun Works, Brownells, Midway USA). However, the trend in the industry is not put "parts" out there for installation by the "consumer". They assume you are an idiot, and if there is an accident or problem you will blame them for the loss of property or life and limb. Their lawyers mandate that any "service or repair" - however minor - must be done at the factory or an authorized service center.

Eg. Kimber, FN, Springfield and Ruger won't sell hardly anything other than magazines and sights. S&W Shield Plus has been on the market for a couple years and there are no parts available.

I wouldn't hold your breath.

If you haven't done so already, you might want to try taking apart your factory magazines to make sure that the followers on the problem mags don't have any extra plastic flashing that's adding resistance. S&W has had some issues with this in recent years.
