Suggestions please

Looking for a 9mm semi-auto pistol, with a 4" barrel, DA only, 10+1.

Well you don't provide much information about what you want but I'll
offer a suggestion for what will probably only be found used. One of the
best; Beretta 92FS Centurion DAO 9mm. 4 1/4" barrel and 10 rd mags
are readily available along with high caps.

If they make 10 round mags for the Sig P250 subcompact you will be good to go. Regular mags are 12 rounds.

One of the many S&Ws that do this. Or barring that, an H&K P30, although you will have to be careful to select the proper version to get the precise trigger you want. Some are true double-action, some are lightened with no double strike, etc.

As mentioned, SIG P250. It has a long DAO trigger pull, but extremely smooth and very light pull. It is hammer fired. Mine is very accurate. I purchased it as a P250 Compact, and later obtained an XChange kit to make it a subcompact. I don't think SIG makes them any longer, but they are plentiful (and inexpensive) on the used market. I really like mine.
